Warner Bros. has unveiled the first trailer for "Dune: The Sisterhood". This series is set millennia before the events of Frank Herbert's novel and the recent film adaptation directed by Denis Villeneuve.

The excitement around "Dune" has been reignited. The second installment of the adaptation of Herbert's renowned novel hit theatres in late February, amassing over CAD 885 million globally, thereby becoming the year's highest-grossing film. Consequently, Warner Bros. has been encouraged by the positive reception from audiences to expand the "Dune" universe further. Denis Villeneuve is confirmed to direct the forthcoming "Dune" installment.

Audiences can also look forward to a series that HBO Max announced in 2019 will be long in development. "Dune: The Sisterhood," after undergoing several changes and a completely new start, is set to premiere on the platform in fall 2024. The narrative unfolds 10,000 years before "Dune," centring on the sisters Valya and Tula Harkonnen. Together, they confront threats to humanity's future and find the iconic Bene Gesserit order.

Warner Bros.'s recently shared trailer has given us our first glimpse of the series, promising an exciting adventure that may rival Game of Thrones.
