Walnut honeycomb cookies with advocaat
These little wonders are really simple to make. Just a few ingredients and a mold are all you need to enjoy a dessert in no time. No baking, mess, or a lot of dirty dishes involved.
The crunchy cookie, creamy filling, and original shape will ensure that all the guests remember this dessert for a long time.
Ingredients:
- 255 g ground walnuts,
- 255 g powdered sugar,
- 1 egg white.
Filling:
- 60 g butter,
- 85 g powdered sugar,
- 1 egg yolk,
- 60 g advocaat.
Preparation method:
Step 1. Grind the walnuts into a fine mass. Add the egg white, powdered sugar, and mix everything together.
Step 2. Form a ball from a portion of the mass and place it in the mold. If the mixture is too light, gently coat the dough with flour to prevent it from sticking to the mold. Press it well, making an indentation in the centre with a stick.
Step 3. Transfer the softened butter to a bowl, add powdered sugar, and whisk, gradually adding the advocaat. Transfer the prepared mass to a pastry bag and fill the indentations in the walnut cookies.
Step 4. Cover the bottom of the cookies with a piece of wafer and place them on a large plate. You can additionally decorate them with powdered sugar. Enjoy!
