  • about 4 cups of water.

Thoroughly wash and slice the cones. Place them in a pot, cover with water, and bring to a boil. Simmer on low heat for about 30 minutes. Add the sugar and stir until completely dissolved. Remove from the heat and let it cool. Strain the syrup through cheesecloth and pour it into clean bottles. Store in a cool, dark place.

Jam from young pine cones

Ingredients:

  • 1 kilogram of young pine cones,
  • 1 kilogram of sugar,
  • about 4 cups of water,
  • juice from 1 lemon.

Wash and slice the cones. Bring water, sugar, and lemon juice to a boil in a pot. Add the cones and simmer on low heat for about 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Pour the finished jam into clean jars. Seal tightly and let cool.

Tincture from young pine cones

Ingredients:

  • 500 grams of young pine cones,
  • 500 grams of sugar,
  • about 4 cups of 40% alcohol vodka.

Wash and slice the cones. Please place them in a jar and cover them with vodka. Seal tightly and store in a dark place for about six weeks. After this period, strain the tincture into bottles and set aside for further filtration after a few days. Store in a cool place.
