Ukrainian forces strike critical Russian targets in Crimea

The British Ministry of Defence reported on Thursday about the effectiveness of Ukrainian military actions on the Russian-occupied Crimean Peninsula. Intelligence has determined that Ukrainians are effectively striking enemy forces, thereby weakening Russian capabilities.

In the latest British intelligence report, it was noted that the Ukrainian General Staff reported a successful attack on a Russian oil terminal in Feodosia, Crimea. This occurred on October 7.

Reports of Ukrainian operations in Crimea are supported by satellite images. A massive fire destroyed the Russian facility in Feodosia.

According to the British, attacks were made on the same fuel infrastructure in March. At that time, Ukrainian forces attempted to damage the oil terminal using drones.

The British Ministry of Defence indicated that this year's Ukrainian attacks in Crimea also targeted other systems. Air defence bases, air bases, and command centres were attacked.

Ukrainians also launched attacks on Russian naval facilities and logistics centres. There were multiple attempts to disrupt the crossing over the Kerch Strait.

In the fall of last year, British intelligence also reported on a Ukrainian attack on a shipyard in Kerch, located in the occupied Crimea. A Russian corvette was damaged within the navy.

Cruise missiles were deployed to the shipyard at that time. The damaged vessel was one of the most modern ships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, capable of carrying Kalibr cruise missiles.
