Media reports indicate a significant drone attack in the Rostov region of Russia.

There are also reports of a fire at an oil tank on the outskirts of the city of Kamensk-Shakhtinsky.

According to Ukrainska Pravda, the drones were likely destroyed in the northwestern part of the region.

Ukrainian drones launched an attack

The attack took place on Friday morning, around 2:00 AM Eastern Time. As a result, a large fire broke out at an oil storage facility in the Rostov region of Russia. The local governor, Yuri Slusar, confirmed that an industrial facility was damaged.

The Russian Ministry of Defense reported the destruction of 47 drones across five regions, including the occupied Crimea in recent attacks, with 29 in the Rostov region.

This is not the first incident involving drones targeting critical infrastructure in Rostov. On August 28, drones hit the Atlas oil depot, causing a fire in several tanks. The fire lasted nearly a week, and one tank exploded several hours after the attack.
