Trump's 'Trump Force One' clips jet in Florida tarmac mishap

Donald Trump's private jet was involved in a collision with another airplane on the tarmac in Florida. The Boeing 757, the billionaire's preferred jet and a vital part of his election campaign, also known as "Trump Force One," reportedly clipped another aircraft with its wing while taxiing after landing.

The Reuters agency reported on this incident on Wednesday, but it happened on the night of Saturday to Sunday at West Palm Beach airport in Florida. According to a source familiar with the situation, as quoted by the agency, the former president of the USA's airplane allegedly hit another jet owned by a corporate aviation company while moving on the airport apron.

According to an official statement from the United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), a private Boeing 757 contacted another parked and empty jet on the apron.

Trump has not responded to the incident

The FAA’s statement also did not clarify that the aircraft belongs to the politician. The agency highlighted that the incident occurred in a section of the airport outside of FAA’s air traffic control. Nevertheless, the FAA announced it would investigate the incident in-depth.

When Reuters learned about the event, they sought further details from Donald Trump's election campaign team. However, their request for comment went unanswered.
