The law banning TikTok in the United States caused a significant stir. It is reportedly related to national security concerns because the app belongs to a Chinese company. Later that same day, Donald Trump, who will soon take office as President of the United States, announced his intention to intervene in this matter. He also stated that he would issue an order on Monday regarding TikTok, which would suspend the court's decision for three months.
The 90-day extension is something that will be most likely done, because it’s appropriate. If I decide to do that, I’ll probably announce it on Monday – he said in an interview with NBC.
