  • In Paris, during a patrol as part of the anti-terrorist operation Sentinelle, a French soldier was attacked and wounded by a knife-wielding assailant. According to the Minister of the Interior, Gérald Darmanin, the soldier’s injuries are not life-threatening. The attacker was arrested.
  • Donald Trump announced Monday that the vice-presidential candidate is Senator J.D. Vance from Ohio. The politician is a strong opponent of providing aid to Ukraine.
