TikTok star Fedra Gaxiola murdered in daylight shooting
A TikTok star and model was murdered in broad daylight. Fedra Gaxiola was killed on Thursday morning. An unknown perpetrator fired several shots at her when she got into her car after leaving the gym.
Fedra Gaxiola was shot on Thursday morning. She headed to her car after leaving the gym in Tijuana, Mexico. It was then that an unidentified man appeared and fired several shots at her through the window and door of the Mercedes. The model was taken to the hospital but, unfortunately, could not be saved.
Witnesses at the scene reported that the perpetrator fled in a grey Chevrolet. Authorities revealed to the media that the man likely acted alone and deliberately targeted the influencer. As of now, no one has been arrested in this case, and the search is ongoing.
Fedra Oded Gaxiola Orozco was a 24-year-old TikToker and model from the state of Sinaloa, Mexico. Online, she was known as a typical "fitness girl" and primarily collaborated with sports apparel brands. She amassed 200,000 followers on TikTok and Instagram.
This is not the only case of influencer murders near Mexican gyms this year. Under similar circumstances in April, Vielka Pulido and her partner were killed. They were also shot in a car after a workout. The woman was reportedly just a random victim, while her boyfriend was the real target. Both died at the scene after a series of 26 shots.
