Suspected terrorist attack: Car hits pedestrians in Israel

In northern Israel, a car drove into people waiting at a bus stop. As a result of the incident, 10 people were injured. The police arrested the perpetrator and suspect that it was a terrorist attack.

The incident occurred in the area of the town of Pardes Channa. Ten people were injured, one of whom is in critical condition.

Suspicion of a terrorist attack

The car, which accelerated and drove into a group of people waiting at the stop, subsequently hit a nearby police car. Officers "captured and neutralized" the perpetrator, who turned out to be a 24-year-old Arab citizen of Israel, reported the police spokesperson. The man had no prior record.

According to information provided by the police, at least one person is in critical condition, and four or five people sustained moderate to serious injuries. All the injured were taken to a local hospital.

The incident was described by the police as a "suspected terrorist attack".
