They're easy to make, require only a handful of ingredients, and taste absolutely delicious. There's no need for special molds either. A skewer stick and a piping bag will prove useful for decorating the cookies. These treats are ideal for both adult and children's parties.

Simple Halloween cookies

Halloween provides the perfect opportunity to unleash your creativity and craft sweet monsters in the kitchen. The combination of jam and shortbread is a timeless classic with a delightful Halloween twist that will captivate everyone.

The preparation is quite speedy, but the dough needs to be chilled in the fridge for a few hours. So, it's wise to plan your baking session ahead of time.

Ingredients:

  • 2.5 cups of all-purpose flour,
  • 1 cup of powdered sugar,
  • 1 cup of butter,
  • 3 egg yolks,

Additionally:

  • 1/2 jar of raspberry jam,
  • 1 bar of milk chocolate.

Instructions:

Step 1. Sift the all-purpose flour and powdered sugar onto a countertop or pastry board. Cut the butter into cubes and chop everything together with a knife.

Step 4. Use your fingers to make indentations for eyes, and make a nose mark with a straw. Transfer the cookies to a baking tray lined with parchment paper, fill the indentations with raspberry jam, and place them in an oven preheated to 180°C for about 10 minutes.
