National Guard spokesperson Ruslan Muzyczuk reported that the Russians are attempting to combine assault actions on the flanks of Selydove with a frontal attack on the city. "The enemy resorts to artillery shelling and air attacks using anti-aircraft missiles," he conveyed.

The assault operation on Selydove is part of a larger plan in the Donetsk region. The probable increase in Russian actions is related to the upcoming cooling and autumn weather, which causes the formation of rasputitsa (mud – editor's note), hindering the activities of heavy units.

In just one day, National Guard soldiers repelled 17 Russian attack attempts in this direction.

"Only in this section of the front during the previous day, soldiers of the Ukrainian National Guard neutralized 273 invaders: 125 irreversibly neutralized, 148 sanitary losses of the enemy," Muzyczuk told the Ukrainska Pravda portal.

Additionally, maps from DeepState analysts confirm that the Russians are conducting intense operations in this area. However, these have not yet produced significant results.
