Ronaldo, the captain and leader of the team, has a rich history of success, including triumphing in the inaugural edition of the Nations League in the 2018-2019 season and winning the European Championship in 2016.
The 39-year-old, currently playing for Al Nassr, announced that he would be the first to leave the national team if he stopped contributing value.
If I feel like I'm no longer contributing anything, I'll be the first to leave - the player stated, quoted by the AFP portal.
