According to the organizers, the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in Paris was designed to inspire reflection. However, a British actor made an offensive comment about the event, and now he might be in trouble. A drag queen performing by the Seine has sued him. What exactly is this for?

The Games in Paris inaugural ceremony viewers were divided into two camps. Some praised the idea, while others launched a large-scale critique. The French were accused of the alleged reference to "The Last Supper" being offensive. The show's creator refuted the allegations, insisting it was about a "feast of the gods."

Meanwhile, British actor Laurence Fox took to social media with an outrageous attack on what he saw during the performance.

No point in getting wound up when the child f*ckers want to wind you up. Just laugh at the deviant little p*dos. Eternity is a b*tch — he angrily stated on platform X.

For the offensive comparison, the British actor will face the court

This comment did not sit well with Nicky Doll, who was involved in the show. As the French "L'Equipe reports," the drag queen has been pursuing legal action against the actor to hold him accountable. Her legal representative spoke on behalf of the offended celebrity.

She stated that Laurence Fox's words were hateful and far exceeded permissible criticism. She noted, in particular, the part where he compared drag queens to pedophiles.

This is an unprecedented wave of hatred and trivialization of insults based on sexual orientation or gender identity — said Anna-Sophie Laquens.

Nicky Doll added that she feels like a victim of defamation and demonization of her artistry. She regretted that "the language of love doesn't work on some people."

Justice should be the answer to this. See you in court — reads on X.

Nicky Doll is the stage name of Karl Sanchez. He is a musician who is permanently residing in New York.
