The Israeli army reported just before 11:00 p.m. ET that "Sirens [are] sounding across all central and southern Israel."
The Israel Defense Forces stated that the missiles were launched from the east and added that a ground-to-ground missile flying over the country was detected, which "landed in an open area in central Israel."
In an update on the X portal, the Israeli army reported that the missile that "landed in an open area in central Israel" was "fired from Yemen." No damage was reported.
The army added that the "explosive sounds heard in the last few minutes" in Israel were caused by Israeli missile interception systems.
Fragments of one of the missiles intercepting the Yemeni missile fell near a train station in Modi'in.
