Miraculous escape: Mother and child unharmed after bus incident
A woman can count herself lucky after failing to notice an approaching bus in Brazil. The vehicle hit her and then struck the stroller carrying her child. Although the scene appeared dramatic, fortunately, no one was hurt.
The incident occurred on January 7 in Várzea Grande, Mato Grosso, Brazil. A mother was walking along the roadside, pushing a stroller with her daughter.
She did not notice the approaching bus, which could not avoid the pedestrians at the curve. First, it side-swiped the woman and then dragged the stroller with the little girl.
The child was dragged several metres by the bus. Finally, she fell out of the stroller. The terrified woman ran to her daughter and took her into her arms, looking towards the bus driver. The footage of this extremely dramatic incident was published on TikTok by the Brazilian outlet "O POVO."
Journalists from the outlet report that no one was hurt. The woman and her daughter can consider themselves incredibly lucky. They were close to being pulled under the wheels by the bus, which could have led to a real tragedy.
