Lizzo vehemently denied all allegations, stating they are "sensationalized stories," and claimed that her former team acted unprofessionally. Nevertheless, the accusations seriously damaged her reputation. The singer chose to follow the standard advice for celebrities in crisis: reducing her media presence. She recently returned, showcasing her new figure.

In response to fans' speculation that she might have used popular weight-loss aids like Ozempic, she firmly denied it, explaining that her transformation results from hard physical work and mindful calorie intake.
Though Lizzo has not yet showcased her new figure at events, the paparazzi have spotted her. Recently, she was seen in New York, dining at the popular restaurant Carbone. For the evening outing, she donned a short black dress revealing her legs paired with a colourful striped jacket. She also sported braids in her hair.
