Recipe for the Lazy Housewife Cake

Ingredients:

                                  
  • 1 ¾ cups of flour,
  • 1 cup of sugar,
  • 2 eggs,
  • ¾ cup of milk,
  • ⅓ cup of oil,
  • 2 teaspoons of baking powder,
  • a pinch of salt,
  • 500 grams of plums.

Crumble:

              
  • ¾ cup of flour,
  • ¼ cup of sugar,
  • ¼ cup of cold butter.

Preparation of the Lazy Housewife Cake:

  1. Preparation of the cake: Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl. Add eggs, milk, and oil.
  2. Mix until you get a smooth batter, then pour the batter into a baking form lined with parchment paper.
  3. Adding the plums: Wash and cut the plums in half, remove the pits, and arrange them on top of the cake, pressing them lightly into the batter.
  4. Prepare the crumble: mix flour, sugar, and butter until crumbs form, then sprinkle the crumble over the cake with plums.
  5. Baking: preheat the oven to 180°C (355°F), bake the cake for 40-45 minutes until the crumble is golden, and the cake is baked.
