On October 16, the music world was shaken by the news of Liam Payne's death, who died after falling from the third floor of a hotel in Buenos Aires. The artist's funeral took place in Amersham, and among the mourners were members of One Direction and the mother of his son, Cheryl Cole. Now, more details about this tragic event have been revealed.

TMZ reports that before his death, Payne was texting his friend, Roger Nores. At that time, Liam was staying at the CasaSur Hotel, while his good friend was booked into another venue. On the night of October 15, the musician ordered four bottles of whiskey and another five in the early morning of October 16.

At 7:00 AM Eastern Time, the musician reportedly texted Nores suggesting his intention to "hit on chicks". Over two hours later, he contacted him again, this time asking if "he could score 5 grams". The media reports indicate that it was likely referring to cocaine.
