- We will fight for reproductive freedom. Knowing that if Trump gets the chance, he will sign a nationwide abortion ban - stated Harris, listing the main topics of her presidential campaign.
She added that strengthening the middle class will also be an important issue.
- I love Joe Biden (...) We will win. I see what kind of guy Donald Trump is - said Harris. She then compared Trump to a "predator" and a "fraudster".
Harris took a jibe at Trump. "Predator and fraudster"
In her speech, the Vice President recalled the times when she served as California's Attorney General. - In that role, I dealt with all kinds of people (...) Predators who exploited women, fraudsters who robbed people (...). So listen to me: I know Donald Trump's type - she said, eliciting laughter from her supporters.
Harris thus referenced Donald Trump's criminal case. In May, the politician was found guilty of concealing a hush payment to porn actress Stormy Daniels.
Joe Biden's associate also argued that "everyone in the USA faces the question of what kind of country they want to live in: a country of freedom, compassion, and the rule of law, or a country of chaos, fear, and hatred".
- Each of us has the opportunity to answer that question. So for the next 106 days, we have work to do - she declared.
