After being arrested for driving under the influence in June in New York, Justin Timberlake became the talk of the town.
Fans of the 43-year-old started analyzing concert footage, claiming that the star was performing while intoxicated. Although some defended the artist and some of the journalists emphasized that these are unsubstantiated rumours, the bad press has significantly affected concert attendance.
According to the newspaper The Sun, the singer's American tour did not sell out entirely, and the cheapest tickets were available for as low as $9 each.
The Rupp Arena in Kentucky offered such prices, selling tickets for the star's performance as part of the Forget Tomorrow World Tour. Other venues in the States offered entry to Timberlake's performance in a similar price range, although tickets originally cost $100 each.
People close to the artist fear that problems with the tour and the lack of commercial success of the latest album, Everything I Thought I Was, significantly burden Justin.
