The final of the 100-metre sprint at the Olympic Games in Paris was delayed due to an intruder on the track. The race winner, Noah Lyles, expressed his surprise at the turn of events. He had no idea why the race was delayed, which he mentioned on social media.

During the men's 100-metre final at the Olympic Games in Paris, an unexpected incident involving an invasion on the track did not prevent Noah Lyles from winning the gold medal. According to "Daily Mail Sport," the unidentified person who breached the track was quickly stopped by security just before the race began.

This event, as reported on platform X, delayed the start, sparking astonishment and interest on social media. The race winner spoke about the issue, expressing his surprise that this situation caused the competition delay.

Is that what we were waiting for? 'I didn't see anybody try to get on the field. But I was wondering what we were waiting for, not gonna lie - wrote Noah Lyles on X.

The track invasion during the 100-metre final was not the only instance of interruptions at the Olympic Games by uninvited guests. Since the start of the games on July 26, there have been disruptive incidents. In other parts of France, during soccer matches, fans also invaded fields, for example, during the USA versus Guinea match and Ukraine versus Argentina.

Security forces also had to intervene when a protester with a Palestinian flag appeared at the Morocco versus Iraq match. The Argentina versus Morocco match was suspended for about two hours due to field invasions and bottle-throwing.

Although these events caused some disruptions in the competition schedule, they did not spoil the Olympic atmosphere, and athletes like Noah Lyles continued their path to Olympic triumph, demonstrating the focus and dedication required for the Games.
