Many women know the story: A few minutes before leaving for the airport, we remember we need to straighten our hair. We manage to do it in five minutes, but the hair straightener we want to take with us is hot. So, what do we do then?

The hot problem for female passengers. How to avoid it?

How can a hair straightener that has reached a temperature close to 200°C be safely packed? TikTok Kristen Black answered this question in one of her videos. She shared her tried-and-true hack, which will be useful for many users.

"Use an oven mitt," she wrote in the description under the video.

Kristen's idea gained recognition among internet users. Instead of waiting for the straightener to cool down, the influencer wrapped the hot device in an oven mitt and secured it with the cord. "Genius!" users commented.

Kristen gained popularity on TikTok thanks to her simple and practical travel tips. Her fans around the world have appreciated many of her ideas, including a video showing how to save space in luggage, which went viral.
