The ability to critically assess one's talent or lack thereof is scarce in Hollywood. Meanwhile, a star recently stated in an interview that he acted so severely once that he felt sick just seeing what he saw on screen.

Glen Powell is a 35-year-old actor with considerable experience on film sets. He started acting as a teenager, and his filmography includes hits like "Spy Kids" and "The Dark Knight Rises." In "Top Gun: Maverick," he caught viewers' eyes when he played Lieutenant Seresin. However, his most significant rise to fame came with "Set It Up," a romantic comedy in which he starred alongside Sydney Sweeney. Powell reminisces about another title, "Hidden Figures" from 2016 in his latest interview. To say he was displeased with his performance is an understatement.

"I remember watching Hidden Figures for the first time on the Fox lot ... and this was before all the effects were done, the music was in, the sound design... and I literally left the movie and I puked in the bushes," he said on the podcast "Therapuss with Jake Shane".

"I was like, 'All these women put in these great performances,' and it's like, the legacy of these women. I was like, 'I literally ruined this movie.'"

"Hidden Figures" is an extraordinary, previously unknown true story of three brilliant African-American women who worked for NASA in the late 1950s and early 1960s. Overcoming unimaginable social and cultural obstacles, they helped send the first American, astronaut John Glenn, into space, thus initiating the space race between global superpowers.

The leading roles were played by Oscar-nominated Taraji P. Henson ("The Curious Case of Benjamin Button"), Oscar-winner Octavia Spencer ("The Help"), Janelle Monáe, Kirsten Dunst ("Spider-Man"), Jim Parsons (TV series "The Big Bang Theory"), and Oscar-winner Kevin Costner ("Dances with Wolves"). Glen Powell played the astronaut being sent into space.

"Hidden Figures" received three Oscar nominations and very positive reviews from critics and viewers. It is difficult to find any mention of Powell's terrible acting performance.
