How to make a quick smoothie with flaxseed?
Prepare the necessary ingredients:
- 1 cup (240 ml) of milk (kefir, water, yogurt, or plant-based drink),
- 1 large banana,
- 3 tablespoons (30 g) of walnuts,
- 1 teaspoon (5 g) of cocoa,
- 1 teaspoon (5 g) of flaxseed,
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) of honey (can be omitted if the banana is very ripe and sweet),
- ½ teaspoon (2.5 g) of cinnamon,
- ½ teaspoon (2.5 g) of grated ginger.
Method of preparation:
- Cut the banana into smaller pieces and put it in a blender. Also, add the nuts, cocoa, honey, flaxseed, and spices.
- Pour in milk, kefir, water, or plant-based drink.
- Blend all the ingredients until the consistency is smooth. The flaxseed smoothie is now ready to be consumed.
