Fire in Nice claims seven lives, causes still unknown

At least seven people died overnight from Wednesday to Thursday in a residential building fire in Nice, located in the south of France, the fire department reported. The causes of the tragedy are not yet known.

According to firefighters, three people were taken to the hospital.

The fire broke out on the seventh floor of the building in the famous Moulins district. Upon arrival, firefighters began to combat the "massive apartment fire."

Three people were rescued using a ladder, and a total of 33 were evacuated.
