Explosives found in car of Trump rally attacker
"The Wall Street Journal" reports that explosives were found in the car belonging to Thomas Matthew Crooks, the attacker who fired shots at Donald Trump.

The car driven by 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks was found near Trump's rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, sources close to the investigation into the shooting told "The Wall Street Journal."
Explosives were secured inside, the newspaper reports. The Associated Press and The New York Times also confirm these reports. Law enforcement officers told the agency that materials for bomb production were found in the car.
"Two explosive devices were said to have been found in the gunman’s car and a possible third at his residence," the NYT reads.
Informants provided information to the agency on the condition of anonymity, it was added.
Failed assassination attempt on Donald Trump
During Donald Trump's rally in Pennsylvania on the night from Saturday to Sunday Eastern Time, there was a failed attempt on his life. In the available recordings online, shots can be heard, and the former president of the USA can be seen hiding behind the podium. Security agents rushed to the stage, and with their assistance, Trump, wounded in the ear, left the stage.
Thomas Matthew Crooks was neutralized by the services present on site. As a result of the attack, a participant in the meeting with Trump also lost their life.
