The rapper's children, from his relationship with Porter, are 26-year-old Christian and 17-year-old Jessie and D'Lila, and they have decided to address the issue in an extensive statement.

Diddy has been in the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn for a week, awaiting trial. Even a $50 (CAD 67) million bail offer from his lawyers wasn't enough, as the court firmly rejected it. The rapper has been charged with a 14-page indictment accusing him of various crimes, which could result in a life sentence.

Amid shocking reports of Diddy's alleged wrongdoings, the internet is buzzing with speculations about further sins the disgraced star may have on his conscience. Conspiracy theorists speculate that the musician might have had something to do with the death of his children's mother, Kim Porter, who died suddenly in 2018 after battling lobar pneumonia. The parents of 26-year-old Christian and 17-year-old Jessie and D'Lila had an exceptionally tumultuous relationship, which only fueled an avalanche of even greater suspicions.

So far, Diddy's children have preferred not to comment on the shocking reports about their father and his alleged criminal activities. On Tuesday evening, a week after the musician's arrest by federal agents, Christian, Jessie, and D'Lila decided to break their silence and publish a detailed statement online.

We have seen so many hurtful and false rumors circulating about our parents, Kim Porter and Sean Combs’ relationship, as well as about our mom’s tragic passing, that we feel the need to speak out - the statement begins.

Let's recall that Porter and Diddy were in a relationship from 1994 to 2007. Rumour has it that a new book, supposedly Porter's memoirs, had come to light, revealing that Combs allegedly subjected his partner to domestic violence. The 60-page book titled "KIM’S LOST WORDS," supposedly a collection of Porter's diaries was allegedly set to be published by her acquaintances. The statement from Combs's children addressed this publication.

Claims that our mom wrote a book are simply untrue - they emphasize. She did not, and anyone claiming to have a manuscript is misrepresenting themselves. Additionally, please understand that any so-called ‘friend’ speaking on behalf of our mom or her family is not a friend, nor do they have her best interests at heart.

In the latter part of the statement, the siblings addressed the rumours that Combs may have had a hand in their mother's death.

Our lives were shattered when we lost our mother. She was our world. And nothing has been the same since she passed. While it has been incredibly difficult to reconcile how she could be taken from us too soon, the cause of her death has long been established - they emphasized. - There was no foul play. Grief is a lifelong process, and we ask that everyone respect our request for peace as we continue to cope with her loss every day. We are deeply saddened that the world has made a spectacle of what has been the most tragic event of our lives. Our mother should be remembered for the beautiful, strong, kind, and loving woman she was. Her memory should not be tainted by horrific conspiracy theories.
