David Allen, TikTok star, mourns untimely death of baby daughter

David Allen, known online as ToTouchAnEmu, informed netizens about a family tragedy. The social media star is mourning the death of his daughter Lily. The little girl passed away just five weeks after birth.

David Allen is one of the most popular online creators in North America. On TikTok alone, he has over 10 million followers. His life seemed to be a series of professional and personal successes. Unfortunately, at the beginning of August, he informed netizens about a painful loss.

Allen began his Instagram post by referring to the life he seemingly had until recently, a life others may have envied.

I met a lot of cool people, celebrities, be[en] on shows, interviews, things like that. It was really neat, he said.

As he quickly added, all these successes turned out to be trivial compared to the recent joy and the subsequent tragedy.

But the coolest thing I ever did was welcome my baby, Lily, into this world with my wife, Jessica. She was five weeks old about a week ago when she passed away at midnight, he said.

Lily was born on June 21. She died on July 27. Allen did not reveal the cause of the girl's death. As he explained, he waited a week to inform about his daughter’s death because he could not find the words for it.

I have cried every tear I can possibly cry. I think it's not easy. I don't wish this on anybody. I don't even really know what to say, he said in the recording.

In the end, he asked netizens to "go hug your little one, squeeze them tight for me" from him.

During this difficult time, David Allen can count on words of support from millions of followers on both TikTok and Instagram. It is unknown if and when he will return to publishing regular content on social media.
