Chopped salmon spread is excellent for those who appreciate healthy and nutritious breakfasts. Salmon is a rich source of protein and healthy omega-3 fats, which support brain and heart function. We also have fresh dill here, and the whole mixture is bonded with cream cheese, a source of phosphorus and calcium. It's healthy, but most of all, it's delicious.
Chopped salmon spread
Preparing this breakfast is quick. The trick for similar spreads circulating online really makes sense. You just need to place the ingredients on a board and chop them together, creating a spread. You can serve the spread on fresh bread, as a sandwich topping, or as a vegetable dip. When half-sour cucumbers disappear from stores, you can use pickles or gherkins. The combination of ingredients gives the spread a unique, delicate, and slightly salty taste.
Ingredients:
- 2 half-sour cucumbers
- 115 grams smoked salmon
- 3 slices of red onion
- 125 millilitres fresh dill
- 400 grams cream cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Additions:
- Bread
Preparation method:
Step 1. Place the cucumber slices on a cutting board. Add the smoked salmon, red onion slices, and fresh dill. Chop everything with a knife.
Step 2. Transfer the cream cheese to a bowl. Add the chopped ingredients and mix everything together. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Step 3. Spread the ready mixture on the bread. I recommend a solid, thick layer - it's so tasty, you don't want to miss out. Enjoy!
