Keoghan explained: "I can only sit and take so much." The actor added: "I have to respond now because it’s gettin to a place where there are too many lines being crossed." He condemned the "Absolute lies, hatred, disgusting commentary" about his appearance, character, and parenting skills. He stressed that members of his family, including his mother and grandmother, are also targets for internet users.
In his statement, Keoghan also wrote: "Knocking on my grannies door. Sitting outside my baby boys house intimidating them. Thats crossing a line." The actor also pointed out that one day his two-year-old son will read these cruel comments about his father.
Despite the rumours of infidelity, including an alleged affair between Keoghan and influencer and social media star Breckie Hill, people close to the actor denied these accusations in conversations with the media. Sources maintain that the couple's breakup was due to challenges in balancing their demanding careers. The erosion of the relationship reportedly stemmed from Carpenter's concert tour and Keoghan's numerous acting roles. The couple is said to have parted on amicable terms.
