During this year's Olympic Games in Paris, Australian swimming star Ariarne Titmus won two gold medals - one in the 4 × 200 m freestyle relay and the other in the 400 m freestyle. This has increased the 23-year-old's collection to four Olympic gold medals in her career.

However, one fan pointed out Titmus’s bright yellow nails, which theoretically could have given her an "unfair advantage." At least, that’s what someone joked about on the platform Reddit. In the discussion under the post, netizens quickly picked up on the topic, joking that the nail colour could affect the results.

Meanwhile, Titmus did not hide her joy over her victory, emphasizing how important this achievement is in her sports career and how much work she had to put in to prepare for these competitions. Both athletes demonstrated extraordinary skills, great sportsmanship, and mutual respect.

Titmus has six world championship titles to her name. Two were achieved during competitions in Gwangju in 2019 (400 m freestyle and the 4 × 200 m freestyle relay) and the same number in the same competitions four years later in Fukuoka, Japan. In addition, she won two gold medals in a 25-metre pool during the World Championships in Hangzhou 2018 (200 m freestyle and 400 m freestyle).
