He was the best again. Carlo Ancelotti led Real Madrid to victory in the Champions League. His son and assistant, Davide, seemed to doubt the Italian coach's imminent retirement.

The football world was recently surprised by Claudio Ranieri's retirement at 72. Carlo Ancelotti, who just turned 64, is still far from his compatriot's age. Moreover, he remains at the absolute peak of his profession.

On Saturday, Carlo Ancelotti led Real Madrid to its 15th Champions League victory. Although the Royals experienced challenging moments in the final, they emerged unscathed and won 2-0 against Borussia Dortmund. Dani Carvajal and Vinicius Junior scored the goals.

After the final, Davide Ancelotti - the son and assistant - spoke with reporters. He revealed that his father Carlo could not wait for the holidays, so after defeating Borussia Dortmund, he would quickly indulge in leisure activities.

Davide Ancelotti was also asked about starting his coaching career. He has accompanied his father, Carlo, on the coaching staff for years. Davide assures that he wants to work independently in the future but does not plan to leave Carlo until he retires from coaching.

Leaving Real Madrid is impossible for me. I won't leave until they kick me out. I want to go my own way in the future, but I won't do that as long as my dad is in the profession. And he can coach even at the age of 100. He leaves me with many responsibilities and is the perfect coach every second - quotes Davide Ancelotti, among others, from the portal cadenaser.com.

Davide Ancelotti, on the other hand, is 34 years old. He trained in soccer but did not go from AC Milan's academy to professional football. Thus, nearly a decade ago, he began accompanying his father, Carlo. He has been Carletto's assistant at Bayern Munich, SSC Napoli, and Everton; since 2021, he has worked at Real Madrid.
