Unruly, rough, and frizzy on every possible occasion. Does this description fit your hair? You can tame it in no time. All you need is a product that is usually used for baking. After a moment, the strands will become perfectly smooth.

Hair is an attribute of femininity. Regardless of length, we want it to be shiny, smooth, and well-groomed. It happens that strands start to frizz, making them look less than perfect and difficult to style. Sarah Jossel, a fashion and beauty journalist, showed a simple way to tame unruly strands. You need one thing that you definitely already have in your kitchen cabinet.

Rub your hair with aluminum foil

Many people struggle with frizzing hair, especially those with high-porosity hair, which is characterized by roughness and wide cuticle spacing.

Sarah Jossel, a beauty expert, argues that you don’t need to use expensive conditioners or masks to tame frizzy strands. On "This Morning," she demonstrated a clever trick for unruly hair. She used aluminum foil for this.

How to smooth hair with foil: Wrap the strands with the matte side of the foil and pull it along the entire length of the strands. After a moment, they will become soft and smooth, thanks to the ionization effect. Positive charges appear on the hair, which is responsible for frizz. Meanwhile, the foil emits negative charges, neutralizing them and making the hair pleasant to touch.

The aluminum foil trick is effective, but other methods are also worth trying. If you want smooth strands regardless of the day or weather, opt for an extensive care routine.

Start by determining hair porosity. Simply place a strand in a glass filled with water. If the hair sinks quickly, it means you have high-porosity hair. Medium-porosity hair will sink halfway, while low-porosity hair will float on the surface for a long time and only partially submerged.

How to care for high-porosity hair? Make sure your bathroom shelf is stocked with emollient conditioners (based on butters and natural oils), moisturizers (with additives such as betaine, aloe, or hyaluronic acid), and proteins (based on keratin or hydrolyzed wheat or silk).

Use them with every wash. Remember to oil your hair regularly. Repeat the treatment two to three times a week, and after just a month, you will notice that your hair has become significantly smoother and less frizzy.
