Cleaning the toilet isn't the most pleasant task, but it's essential for both aesthetic and hygienic reasons. With a simple technique, you can accomplish this quickly and efficiently.

How to clean the toilet?

Many people opt for expensive chemical products to remove bathroom dirt instantly. However, simpler and more cost-effective methods are available. You only need to look in your kitchen to find many useful items for this purpose.

Though baking soda is commonly used in these instances, you might not know that a dishwasher tablet can also be effective. Simply drop one into the toilet overnight. In the morning, scrub the toilet bowl thoroughly with a brush, and you're done. There should be no trace of limescale or dirt left behind.

Mix and clean the toilet

The dishwasher tablet trick is not the only solution for a dirty toilet bowl. You can also use a combination of two ingredients: a cup (about 240 ml) of apple cider vinegar and the juice of one lemon.

Pour the mixture into the toilet bowl, scrub it with a brush, and allow it to sit for about 20 minutes. Afterwards, rinse with water. The vinegar and lemon's natural substances will help remove limescale and other grime. For added effectiveness, include an additional cup of baking soda (about 240 ml).
